So what is nurse health coaching anyway?

Hello my name is Diane. I practice health coaching at The Health Coach Experience. I will work together to give you personalized coaching, and create a customized plan that fits your unique lifestyle and goals. I will provide support, and guidance every step of the way.
About me......
I have been a registered nurse for many years, gaining experience across various specialties, including neurology, prenatal medicine as a Health Start coordinator, nursing rehabilitation management, behavioral health, home care nursing (both as a staff nurse and supervisor), and school nursing, where I also taught health to middle and high school students—often learning valuable lessons from them in return.
Each role has been fulfilling in its own way, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunities and experiences nursing has given me throughout my career. However, in recent years, I have felt increasingly discontented with the rapid changes in healthcare. It is not the same profession I entered after nursing school. While many advancements have improved patient care, challenges such as staff shortages and system inefficiencies have made it difficult to find the same sense of fulfillment.
As a seasoned nurse, this shift was unsettling. I wanted to reignite my passion for nursing in a way that aligned with my values and experience. After much reflection, I realized that nurse coaching was exactly what I was looking for. It offers the opportunity to empower and guide patients/clients in a more personalized, holistic way—bringing back the connection and purpose that first drew me to nursing.
